Banana and spinach breakfast pop

Banana & Spinach Frozen Breakfast Pops

Makes 6–8 ice block moulds (depending on size)
Creamy, naturally sweet, and packed with greens — a freezer-friendly breakfast or snack little ones will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 generous handful baby spinach

  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or vanilla bean yogurt

  • 1–2 tsp honey (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp hemp protein powder (or your preferred protein)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Method

  1. Add the bananas, spinach, milk, yogurt, honey, and hemp protein powder to a blender.

  2. Blend until completely smooth.

  3. Stir in the chia seeds (do not blend them).

  4. Pour the mixture into ice block moulds.

  5. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or until solid.

  6. To remove, run the moulds briefly under warm water to release.
